As of August of 2011, I worked with the MS and US IT Specialists to design a blog to use for the following functions:

1) To use as a reference tool for students where they can find various documents and points of access that are gathered in one place

2) To use as a place where community members can sign up and get information about the library and library services in general.

This blog has been highly used over the past 3 months and continues to get traffic.  I have received positive student feedback on the formatting and the content of the blog from many students.  Our hope is that this continues to be a place that students find useful information to help them solve problems and answer questions.
