This year I was asked to be an AP Seminar Reader and invited to Salt Lake City, Utah, to take part in the reading.  I was uber excited for the opportunity to connect with colleagues from around the world and learn more of how to teach the course better.  Though the COVID-19 pandemic didn’t allow this to happen, I feel like the invite was a huge honor.

As of now, I’m working collaboratively with the AT Seminar PLC and Instructional Coach to design the course for online learning and prepare students for the uploading of their papers.  It’s been a strange year indeed, but it’s also provided huge opportunities for growth in learning how to develop online teaching practices, connecting with students via different media, and supporting students in developing their passions, research and writing skills.
